I had a letter about a job I applied for. The job description did state that the applicant must be fluent in Welsh! But I was told that because I was doing the wlpan, they'd still consider me. However, the letter confirming my interview is entirely in Welsh. Even armed with my learner's dictionary I couldn't work it all out for certain. I don't want to get anything wrong. So I'm calling out for a little help. Here's the letter...

It's a pleasure ...bla bla bla.... Thursday, 16th November 2006 at 11:30am. Cynhelir y cyfweliad yn Swyddfeydd Sports Media Services, Innovation Centre, Bridgend Something about the offices of SMS in Bridgend A fyddech mor garedig a ni i gadamhau eich presenoldeb drwy ffonio ein swyddfa yng Ngaernarfon. You will be something (please say 'presenoldeb' doesn't mean I have to do a presentation!) through the phone something office in Caernarfon. Yn anffodus, nid yw Cyfle mewn sefyllfa i gyfrannu tuag at eich costau. Something, no chance (although cyfle is the name of the company i applied with) in a....something........your cost? Edrychwn ymlaen at eich cyfarfod ar y diwmod. Looking forward to your meeting on the day |

Unfortunately Cyfle are not in a position to reimburse costs.

Would you be so kind as to (word missing: contact?) us to confirm your presence (=presenoldeb, phew!) by phoning our office in Caernarfon.

Unfortunately Cyfle is not in a situation to contribute towards your costs (travelling costs i guess).
Translation's a bit late sorry, but thought you might like to know anyways. Sut roedd y cyfweliad? Just came across your blog via Gwenu Dan Fysiau btw. Think it's gwych and it's great you're learning Welsh and using this to help. Pob lwc i ti!
